Disorders
The Center for UCD and OA has been recognized by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport as a national expert center for all disorders of amino acid and other organic acid metabolism.
Among this group of disorders are Urea cycle defects (UCD) and Organic acidurias (OA). In addition, we also see many patients with the disorder Phenylketonuria. At our center, we treat both children and adult patients with these disorders and, in addition to providing high quality care, we also do a lot of research.
