Pompe disease consultation hours

Patients with Pompe disease can be divided into three groups:

  1. the group consisting of babies and children who come to our center every week for treatment with enzyme replacement therapy;
  2. the group consisting of the older children and adults who receive enzyme replacement treatment at our center every two weeks;
  3. the group of patients who are not (yet) receiving treatment.

Whichever group you fall into, at the Pompe Center we would like to see all patients at our consultation hours. On average, patients with Pompe disease visit our center two to four times a year to discuss the effect of treatment and/or to discuss the occurrence of new symptoms. Appointments with other specialists (e.g. pulmonologist or ENT doctor) are often scheduled on the same day. We try to schedule all appointments on one day as much as possible to minimize hospital visits for you.

Our consultation hours are divided into 3 age groups. Below you can find the overview of our consultation hours.
