26th ESGLD Workshop

From 11–13 October 2026, Rotterdam will host the 26th ESGLD Workshop. This international meeting brings together researchers, clinicians, students, and PhD candidates from across Europe to discuss the latest advances in lysosomal biology and lysosomal diseases.
Erasmus MC is proud to host the 26th Workshop of the European Study Group on Lysosomal Diseases (ESGLD), which will take place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from 11–13 October 2026.
The meeting starts on Sunday 11 October at 2:00 PM and concludes on Tuesday 13 October at 1:00 PM, followed by an optional excursion through Rotterdam.
The workshop will feature a stimulating scientific programme with presentations from leading researchers, opportunities for networking, and discussions on the latest developments in lysosomal biology and disease research. Students, PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers are especially encouraged to participate and present their latest findings to an international audience of experts.

• Giancarlo Parenti (TIGEM)
Researchers, clinicians, students, PhD candidates and postdoctoral fellows with an interest in lysosomal disorders, cell biology, genetics and related disciplines are warmly invited to attend.
Registration fees are:
• Principal Investigators: €340
• Students, PhD candidates and Postdoctoral Researchers: €240
Registration includes all meals during the workshop and a two-year ESGLD membership. Accommodation is not included and should be arranged individually.
